The post-graduate examinations that were scheduled to take place on April 19 and April 20 at the Dibrugarh University have now been postponed amid surge in coronavirus cases in the country

The revised dates are yet to be announced.

In its order, the varsity said "This is for information to all concerned that all the PG Examinations (both CBCS& Non-CBCS) scheduled on 19th and 20th April, 2021 in the university Departments, Centre for Studies and other affiliated colleges/Institutes under Dibrugarh University have been postponed."


Meanwhile, the Assam government is expected to take a decision on the SEBA HSLC Exam schedule soon.

Earlier, Assam education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the SEBA (State Education Board of Assam) HSLC and HS examinations will be taken only after the new government is formed, i.e. after May 2, 2021.

Due to an alarming surge in coronavirus active cases across the nation, many other states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Maharashtra, West Bengal, etc have either deferred or canceled their board exams.
