NTA To Announce NEET UG Results Today, Here's How To Download Scorecards
Based on the NEET 2022 results, around 91,927 MBBS, 27,698 BDS, 52,720 AYSH seats, and 603 BVSc & AH seats will be offered in 612 medical and 317 dental colleges
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday will announce the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test undergraduate NEET UG result 2022.
Along with the result, the category-wise cutoff for NEET 2022 will also be released and it will be available on the official website, at neet.nta.nic.in.
The UG medical entrance exam was held on July 17, 2022, where a total of 18,72,341 candidates registered for the undergraduate medical entrance exam, out of which 16,14,777 aspirants appeared.
Based on the NEET 2022 results, around 91,927 MBBS, 27,698 BDS, 52,720 AYSH seats, and 603 BVSc & AH seats will be offered in 612 medical and 317 dental colleges.
The counselling for 85% of state Quota seats will be conducted by the counselling authorities of the respective state.
This was the first time that the upper age limit to apply for medical entrance had been increased which might make the competition tougher.
Experts are of the view that the cut-off score is likely to rise as the passing marks – 50 percentile – could go as high as 150 marks.
Notably, last year, the 50 percentile score for the unreserved category was over 138 marks. This was a drop from 147 in 2020 and 134 in 2019. To get admission to top colleges, the cut-off of around 600 marks is predicted.
NEET Result 2022 Date And Time: How to Download Scorecard
1. Visit NTA's official website -- neet.nta.nic.in
2. On the Home Page, click 'NEET 2022 Result' under Latest Announcement
3. On the next window enter credentials including NTA NEET application number and date of birth
4. Click and access the NEET 2022 result.
5. Download NEET UG 2022 scorecard, take a printout for further reference.
Along with the NEET UG 2022 result, NTA will also issue the NEET final answer key UG and individual scorecards, cut-off and all India rank.
