KGF Chapter 2 Box Office Collection: Yash Starrer Crosses Rs 500 Crores in India
The film directed by Prashant Neel starring superstar Yash is in the second spot after ‘Fantastic Beast: Secrets of Dumbledore’ directed by David Yates.
MUMBAI: In another great success for the South Indian movies, the recently released action drama 'KGF: Chapter 2' by Prashant Neel starring Kannada superstar Yash is breaking all records.
The movie is not just winning the heart of the audience but also becoming a global hit by crossing 500 crores worldwide box office collection within one week of its release.
Most notably, KGF: Chapter 2 has made its place in the 2nd spot after 'Fantastic Beast: Secrets of Dumbledore' directed by David Yates released on 9 April.
Apart from Yash playing the lead role, the second part of KGF also casts Bollywood actors Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in important roles.
On its opening day, the Yash starrer grossed Rs 165 crore and within just 2 days it crossed the mark of Rs 240 crore adding another 139.25 crores on its second day.
With Rupees 115.08 crore on the third day and Rupees 131.13 crore on the fourth day the total global box office collection of the film reached Rs 551.83 crore.
The film has also earned massive profit before its release through advanced ticket booking sales and the film's Hindi version sold tickets worth Rupees 11 crore before 4 days of release.
Fan's craziness for the film and their favourite star Yash is clearly visible as on the initial day of the film's release large gatherings took place outside the cinema halls.
Not just this but the crowd was even unable to control by police and they started Lathi charge fans outside theatres.
The viewers have been continuously praising the action-packed performance by Yash who is getting much love and applause from people across the country and worldwide for delivering the epic performance.
People also took to social media to share about the impressive performance by Yash and also by other co-stars. The film has won hearts with action-packed drama and narrative along with the best scenes and sequences.
