Indian Institute of Information Technology ( IIIT) Guwahati is welcoming notification from qualified candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project "Design and Development of an Assistive Device for Persons with Motor Neuron Disease." Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for JRF Vacancy:

Applicant must fulfil both of the following criteria:

1. Master's degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant area with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60% of marks.

2. Selected through either GATE or NET.

OR

1. Four–year Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.0 or 65% of marks

2. Selected through either GATE or NET.

Shortlisting will be done based on the availability of seats and the academic

performance of the candidates. A candidate merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria may

not be shortlisted.
