Big events happen in our lives occasionally. We achieve great goals after long periods of hard work and sacrifices. In the process of achieving high targets, we ignore the events that are happening daily around us and the things and people who are present with us. We miss the daily joy in little things waiting for greater success to be happy. We often ignore our responsibilities and duties. What we think as little or insignificant task often determines our character and forms our habits. How we do little things tells a lot about how we will deal with a larger problem or work.

It is good to dream big and aim higher, so that we keep evolving with time. We should not stagnate or retrograde; but we should keep improving, expanding and developing with time. During that transition period we should not ignore the blessings we have. Each day is precious gift to us. We should be grateful for what we have and utilize them properly. While dreaming for better things, better times and success we should not forget to cherish everything that is present and savour every flavour of life. We should take are of ourselves and those close to us. Daily small actions, daily interactions and communications determines the quality of our lives over a period of time. So, every small gesture of appreciation and gratefulness matters.

Each day a bit of our life is passing by. So, we need to live the life everyday and not wait for everything to fall in place before we start living. We achieve success or fulfil our dreams when time comes, but till then we should not think that we are incomplete. We are always complete and full of potentials. Our achievements are only additional jewels in the crown, which is useless after our death. So, we should look around us for what we have and who are with us in the present. Nothing is permanent. What is here today might not be there tomorrow. So, we should cherish the company of every person and be grateful for everything we have. We should appraise ourselves from time to time for surviving tough times, solving every little and big problems of life, for our hard work and sacrifices and our every little achievement. We should reward ourselves if we do some good job, even if no one recognizes our efforts. We should be grateful to God for keeping us safe and healthy. We should be grateful, if we have a house to live, food to eat, clothes to wear a job to do and if our loved ones are healthy and prospering. Many people are deprived of what we have. Gratefulness and contentment bring peace to life.
