Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu flagged off a Tata pick-up van for Ledum Organic Farmers Producers Company provided on subsidy under Mission Organic Value Chain Development-NER (MOVCD-NER) on Saturday.

PASIGHAT: Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu flagged off a Tata pick-up van for Ledum Organic Farmers Producers Company provided on subsidy under Mission Organic Value Chain Development-NER (MOVCD-NER) on Saturday.
The programme was attended by District Agriculture Officer Ajit Pao, Board of Directors, MOVCD East Siang and beneficiary farmers of Ledum Organic FPC at a simple function. The DC also handed over the keys and urged farmers to make the district an organic hub of the state. He interacted with the farmers and urged them to make optimum benefit for transportation of respective organic produces and products for marketing purpose.
The MOVCD CSS scheme aims to assist farmers to adopt organic farming in the North East Region and provide an end to end support to farmers from farm to fork.
