Assam Police Recruitment: Check Results Here
The exam was conducted for a total of 5262 posts which are divided under various departments of Assam Police
GUWAHATI: The Assam state level police recruitment board on Sunday released the results for 2442 posts of the ranks of SI and Constables of Unarmed Branch and Armed Branch of the Assam Police.
The results for the same have been uploaded in the board's official website www.slprbassam.in.
Special Director General of Police, GP Singh in a tweet let the aspirants know of the results and said, "Results for 2442 posts of SI, AB & UB Constables etc. have been uploaded on the website of SLPRB."
The 2442 posts comprise of various ranks and branches of Assam Police.
The exam was conducted for a total of 5262 posts which are divided under various departments of Assam Police which includes, The Assam Police, Assam Police Battalion, Civil Defense and Home guards.
More than 7 lakh aspirants sat for the exam across 15 districts of Assam.
In the results declared for 5262 posts, 4493 selected candidates are male, and the remaining are female. The percentage of female candidates compared to the male candidates is very concerning but then it's a good sign that they are giving a fight to their male competitors.
Director General of Police Assam, Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta said in a statement that the recruitment for the 5000 odd posts have been done keeping many factors in the perspective and he is hopeful that the selected candidates would serve the state of Assam with honesty and diligence.
All the candidates will get their appointment letters from the Chief Minister of Assam in a special function arranged in the Veterinary Playground in Khanapara, Guwahati on the 22nd of September.
There were rumors that the results for the recently held ADRE III and IV grade posts exam will be announced today but the results for the Assam Police recruitment today have quashed such rumors.
