Headmaster arrested for allegedly molesting six minor girl students in Biswanath

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Police arrested the headmaster of a residential school namely Holy Child English School situated at Panchalgi along Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border in Biswanath district on Monday night. The arrested headmaster was identified as Pradeep Sangma alias Pranjit Sangma. The headmaster had allegedly been molesting six minor girl students of the school. The incident came to light on Monday. Biswanath district police arrested the teacher from his native village Hamren Satgaon in West Karbi Anglong. A case no 145/2022 has been registered with Biswanath Chariali Police Station under 8/12 of the POCSO Act.
