Guwahati: 4th Ayodhana Int'l Fide Rating Chess Tournament To Be Held From 3rd To 8th July
As per the statement, Rs 2,00, 000 will be the total prize money of the tournament and top 20 positions will be awarded cash prizes
Guwahati: Ayodhana International Fide Rating Chess Tournament will be organized by Chess Players Parents' Forum from 3rd to 8th July 2022 at Assam Down Town Auditorium Guwahati, said an official statement.
As per the statement, Rs 2,00, 000 will be the total prize money for the tournament, and the top 20 positions will be awarded cash prizes.
Apart from the top 20 position holders, there will be a prize for best women, Best veteran, and age group prizes for Under-7, under-9, under-11, under-13, and under-15 players. In addition to this, there will be special prizes for Assam and Guwahati players.
Besides the players from Assam and northeastern states around 200 players from all over India are expected to participate in the tournament.
The tournament has been recognized by the All India Chess Federation and World Chess Federation.
