Soccer camp begins at Dimakuchi

GUWAHATI: The trial camp for the U-17 State girls' team got under way at Dimakuchi today. Altogether 80 players from across the State have joined the camp which is being supervised by Lochan Saikia as head coach and Royal Basumatari as assistant coach. The tournament will kick off in six venues in Guwahati and its adjoining localities from June 18. Assam are placed in group 'G' along with Gujarat, Poducherry and Haryana. Host will start their campaign on June 21 against Poducherry.
