Assam Rifles conducts lectures on schemes for poor in Mizoram
Lunglei Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) conducted a lecture on "Government Schemes for Poor" at Kawrthindeng village.
Aizawl: Lunglei Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) conducted a lecture on "Government Schemes for Poor" at Kawrthindeng village on July 22, 2022.
A total of 18 locals attended the lecture. The aim of the lecture was to generate awareness about improving the livelihood of the people and providing security for leading a better life. Government schemes are launched to provide benefits to the individual in all areas of their life and uplift society. Some schemes grant financial security while others aim to provide socio-economic measures. The various government schemes and initiatives were briefed in detail to all the locals. The locals of Kawrthindeng village were very happy and expressed their gratitude for the initiative taken by Assam Rifles, a press release said.
