Assam Rifles security forces conduct medical camps in Aizawl

AIZAWL: Aizawl Battalion of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organized medical camps at all company operating bases in Aizawl on Tuesday.

A total of 136 locals attended the camps. The aim of the camps was to provide medical treatment to the local populace by a specially constituted medical team of Aizawl Battalion. Apart from providing medical assistance, basic knowledge on health education including precautions from common viral diseases was also imparted. The importance of hygiene and sanitation was explained to the villagers for better living standards. Villagers appreciated the efforts of security forces, stated a press release.
