Rohit guides Guwahati to big win
Rohit, picked up 7-56 in the second innings, was his second five-wicket haul in the tie and he ended the match bagging 12 wickets.

Guwahati: Rode on a terrific spell from Rohit Singh Guwahati thrashed Morigaon by an innings and 22 runs in the Nuruddin Senior Inter District tie at the ACA stadium in the city today. Rohit, picked up 7-56 in the second innings, was his second five-wicket haul in the tie and he ended the match bagging 12 wickets.
Morigaon, started day's play from overnight score 76-6, took their second innings score to 156 before bowled out. Kartik Talukdar (52), scored a half century, fought a lone battle for his team in the second innings. The innings victory helped Guwahati to earn 7 points from the match.
The other three games, played between NFRSA-Bongaigaon, Nagaon-Tinsukia and Biswanath Chariali-Barpeta were ended as draws after the third day's play was called off due to wet fields. All the teams earned one point each.
