The Estillo was the successor to the successful Zen but barely held a candle to it. It was pretty much a WagonR with curves and so it lost everything the old Zen stood for, plus it came in ghastly colors, like the one pictured here
Hindustan Trekker
The Trekker was based on the Ambassador but designed as a people carrier, however, Hindustan Motors put function way too over form. The straight lines and too boxy a design, in fact, looked like there was absolutely no consideration to its visual appeal

Hindustan Motors tried a lot of iterations with the Ambassador, one of which was pick-up truck. The veer wasn’t anything short of a poor Ambassador cut in half and then bolted with a pick-up truck style set up at the rear
Mahindra Quanto
Mahindra now has great compact SUVs in its lineup, but back when the body style was just catching on, they didn’t as much have a hold on the concept. The Quanto was a Xylo downsized to fit sub-4 metres and sadly looked like it really was chopped from the rear
