Students From Arunachal To Protest Against APPSC's Cash-For-Job Scam

ITANAGAR: At a press conference held at the Arunachal Press Club, ANSU vice president Rahim Yangfo told the media that so far, no action has been taken against the scam's chairman, secretary, members, and all other officials involved.
The All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) announced on November 30 that they would hold a large referendum rally on December 3 due to dissatisfaction with the ongoing investigation into the APPSC cash-for-job scam and showing support for Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) aspirants.
Rahim Yangfo, vice president of ANSU, spoke to the media at a press conference held at the Arunachal Press Club. He said that so far, no action has been taken against the scam's chairman, secretary, members, and all other officials involved. This is very regrettable.
"This is such a huge swindle, and the investigation is done completely incorrectly. The state authorities implicated have not yet been arrested, and we oppose this shoddy probe. He spoke.
The APPSC Chairman, Secretary, members, and any other officials implicated in the swindle have to be detained right away, according to the rally's organisers. The vice president of ANSU also demanded that the exam paper in the area where the paper leak was discovered be deemed invalid. He further demanded that no exam dates be set by the APPSC until the investigation is finished.
Rahim Yangfo also demanded that Gyamar Padang, known as the whistleblower of the APPSC exam paper leak, be rewarded with the post of Assistant Engineer and Mudang Yabyang, a candidate who is disabled (PWD), be hired for the position of lecturer at the polytechnic.
The Special Investigation Cell (SIC) of the state police has so far detained 22 people in connection with the paper leak case, including the deputy secretary of the APPSC and the deputy controller of exams Taket Jerang.
The CBI is looking into the case as well.
