Asam: Nationwide programme on road Safety Week organized in Morigaon
As a part of nationwide programme on Road Safety Week from January 11 to January 17, NYK, Morigaon in association with district administration organized a series of road safety activities at various spots like Maya bazar Bihutoli, Sanibazar Chariali, Moirabari, Mayong, Narayan bazar, Dalanghat, Jagiroad, etc in the district on Tuesday and distributed leaflets among the pedestrians as well as drivers of various vehicles.
NAGAON: As a part of nationwide programme on Road Safety Week from January 11 to January 17, NYK, Morigaon in association with district administration organized a series of road safety activities at various spots like Maya bazar Bihutoli, Sanibazar Chariali, Moirabari, Mayong, Narayan bazar, Dalanghat, Jagiroad, etc in the district on Tuesday and distributed leaflets among the pedestrians as well as drivers of various vehicles. Over hundred volunteers from NGOs as well as other NSS units participated in this drive and tried to make people aware of the traffic guidelines and other rules as well as Acts of Transport.
Over three hundred volunteers as well as students from various educational institutions, took out a rally early on Tuesday morning from Baghara HS School and urged the people to abide by the traffic guidelines and other Transport Acts while driving any vehicle on road. Dhananjay Talukdar, the account-cum-programme officer, NYK, Morigaon thanked all the participants.
