Assam: 3 minors wounded in old shell blast at Kandoli firing range
Three minor boys were injured in a blast of an old 2 inch shell (likely smoke or illumination shell) at Kandoli firing range on Friday. The injured boys were immediately admitted in Nagaon Medical College and Hospital.
NAGAON: Three minor boys were injured in a blast of an old 2 inch shell (likely smoke or illumination shell) at Kandoli firing range on Friday. The injured boys were immediately admitted in Nagaon Medical College and Hospital. According to sources, the injured persons have been identified as Mongleswar Chawtal, Ranju Modi and Nitumoni Gogoi alias Rocky of Kandoli. Sources claimed that an old strayed 2 inch shell was found in the firing range and the victim boys were taking the shell to the office of the concerned battalion when the shell blasted. The senior officer of the district police administration ascertained that all the injured minors were out of danger.
