DIBRUGARH: Dibrugarh-based doctor Bhaskar Gogoi has taken the initiative to distribute 8,000 car stickers of Lord Ram in Dibrugarh ahead of Pran Pratishtha of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. Gogoi has already distributed many car stickers of Lord Ram in Dibrugarh over the past six days. He has also distributed the stickers to the doctors in Dibrugarh. The initiative has been taken to create awareness about the Pran Pratishtha programme of Lord Ram at Ayodhya.

Bhaskar Gogoi said, “As the Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Temple will be done on January 22, we have started a car sticker application mission programme for the last six days. We have planned to apply 8,000 car stickers in all of Dibrugarh. We have ten outlet points where the car stickers are available free of charge, and today we have come to Marwari Aarogya Bhawan Hospital and applied car stickers of Lord Ram to seven cars of doctors. It gives us great pleasure that we could do a little bit towards the Ram temple movement.” “It’s really a great initiative by Doctor Bhaskar Gogoi, and we are really honoured to be part of this programme,” said Doctor Dibyajyoti Kalita.

Vijay Kumar Ojha, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Vice President, Dibrugarh, said, “It’s a great initiative taken by Bhaskar Gogoi, and we are also part of this programme. The Ram Temple will be inaugurated on January 22 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and for that, different programmes have been taken place in different places.”

The religious rituals will continue until January 21. On January 22, the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony will take place. The idol for which ‘Pran Pratishtha’ will be made is expected to weigh around 150–200 kg. On January 18, the idol will be placed in its position in the ‘Garbh Griha’ of the temple.
