Tribute to Anima Borthakur

On August 28, 2022 we lost our Maa, Anima Borthakur (Ani), the most beautiful soul we have ever met. She was known for her quiet nature and liberal heart. She had accepted all the ups and downs of life very easily and efficiently managed her family. Born and brought up in the famous Bezbarua family of Sivasagar and got married to Arun Borthakur of Brahmin Patty of Sivasagar in the year 1965, she has left behind her three daughters, two sons- in-law and four grandchildren.

With a saddened heart we are missing her smile, care, love and her bright resounding laugh. All are gone by time undone, all that was her is past. Down the stream we saw her on the shore, around a bend we drifted and saw her then no more. And yet still she stands there, still stands beside the shore. On the day of her Adya Shraddha, we request all to pray for the peace of the departed soul.
