Assam Kabaddi team named for 48th Junior National Kabaddi Championship
Assam Kabaddi Association announced its squad for the 48th Junior National Kabaddi Championship which will be held at Pataliputra in Bihar from September 1.

GUWAHATI: Assam Kabaddi Association announced its squad for the 48th Junior National Kabaddi Championship which will be held at Pataliputra in Bihar from September 1. Mainao Boro will lead the 12-member team. The secretary of the Assam Kabaddi Association Alok Tripathi said that the team will leave for Bihar on August 30 to participate in the championship.
The squad: Mainao Baro (capt), Mamuni Basumatary, Diya Rani Basumatary, Susmita Borah, Purnima Brahma, Nandini Rabha, Pritika Boro, Bonita Basumatary, Soniya Boro, Lakhimi Newar, Nikee Koiri and Dulumani Kachari. Coach: Damayanti Boro. Manager: Sanmoy Bhattacharjee.
