Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the ongoing Assam and Aruanchal Pradesh boundary dispute settlement in the presence of the chief ministers of both states today.

GUWAHATI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the ongoing Assam and Aruanchal Pradesh boundary dispute settlement in the presence of the chief ministers of both states today.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "The Centre wants a solution to the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh boundary issues well within the Azadi ka Amrit Mohotsav Kaal. Shah asked us to go ahead to solve the remaining boundary issues. He said the Home Ministry will extend all help as it wants a solution to the boundary disputes within three months."
The Chief Minister said that the two states solved boundary disputes in 37 stretches, and negotiations were going on resolve the issues in 66 other areas. "The disputes are a bit critical in 16 stretches. We will take that later," he said.
